Things to do on The Mornington Peninsula
The Top 2 Things to do on the Mornington Peninsula
Yeah I know…
A local gutter cleaner on the Mornington Peninsula giving you advice on what to do while you’re here.
Seems a bit odd but I’m local and so I know a couple of great things you can do.
With so many things to do on the Mornington Peninsula, I’ve decided to list only 2.
Yep, 2…
But these are 2 of the best. Trust me, if you haven’t experienced these, you haven’t lived.
So let’s get to it…
Peninsula Hot Springs
If you’re coming to the Mornington Peninsula on holiday and you’re looking for something relaxing to do, stay away from the Peninsula Hot Springs… It’s for the locals only and we don’t want you adding stress to our relaxation time.
No, I’m kidding.
As much as I would love to have the Hot Springs all to myself, if you’re down on the Peninsula, you should really check it out.
I haven’t counted but apparently there’ over 50 bathing experiences ranging from the Hill-Top Views, to the plunge pool, the reflexology walk and my kids personal favourite, the Bat Cave.
Ok, it’s not a bat cave, it’s just a cosy little cave that my kids love.
Don’t worry, my kids are well behaved.
They also have ice caves and Turkish Saunas so you should be able to find something you like. And if you can’t, don’t come over to me with all that stress, messing up my che…
Go get a massage.
Trust me, you’ll love it
Go to their website and book it in.
Enchanted Adventure Garden
If you have kids aged anywhere between 5 and 45, this ones for you…
If you only have one day to spend on the Mornington Peninsula maybe skip The Enchanted Garden. Because once you step foot in this place, you’ll never want to leave.
They have tree surfing…
They have tyre slides…
They have hedge mazes…
They have zip lines…
They have…
I’m not going to list it all. You’re gonna have to trust me on this one. You want to come here.
Even if you don’t do a single thing of what they have to offer. You’ll be in awe simply walking around looking at all the work that has gone into putting this “Adventure Park” together.
With that said, you won’t be able to keep yourself out of the trees.
It may be 30 years since you last climbed a tree but that is all about to change.
Very soon, you’ll be hanging 30 feet in the air, surfing from tree top to tree top while your kids are moaning “When is it my turn? I want a turn”.
But don’t worry.
You can’t hear them up there so you won’t care.
You ignore them and keep swinging.
Bugger the kids.
Yep, check them out here
Conclusion
Here’s what I recommend…
You’ll need two days here on the Mornington Peninsula. Book yourself and AirBnB anywhere from Arthurs Seat up to Rye.
Spend day one at the Enchanted Gardens and live like a kid again. Swing from the trees, race down on the tyre slide and never stop for food.
Have a great recovery meal at any of the amazing restaurants on the Mornington Peninsula.
Then day two you’re really going to need a day at the Hot Springs.
The truth is, you can’t be swinging from trees at your age, you should know better.
But what’s done is done.
Now it’s time to recover and relax.
Soak in the natural springs and get yourself a massage.
You’ll feel 20 years younger and ready to do it all again next week.
Got get it, I’ll see you there.
