Before we go any further, it’s probably a good idea to let you know that I’m a qualified plumber and worked on roofs and gutters for 10 years.

I didn’t tell you this to brag, I would never brag about being a plumber. I bring this up to highlight the fact that I know my way around roofs and gutters and know how it’s supposed to look up there.

I know where to look for any possible leak and also how to fix them up as well.

This roof isn’t too bad but it has a couple of trouble spots. The lead collar on this vent pipe is starting to open up.
